Mumlava Waterfall

Mumlava Waterfall is one of the most famous and beautiful waterfalls in the Czech Republic. It is located in the Krkonoše National Park, near the town of Harrachov.

Interesting are the giant pots and cauldrons, called devil\’s eyes, which the predatory stream of the Mumlava has carved into the granite steps. For most of the year, the water drops sharply down from a height of 10 metres, but when winter comes, the frost turns the water into ice and conjures up a massive icefall, an original work of nature.
